Sometimes a particular song can just have an emotional connection to an innavidual. Music is eternal; it can strongly influence and trigger emotions. This painting is inspired by how music has changed over the years. The painting depicts a violin and musical notes. The violin is the smallest and highest-pitched string instrument and surprisingly it has a calming effect on people. In the painting, the violin symbolizes music, and the music sheets as the transition of old to new songs.
I have torn the music sheets and shown them fading in an attempt to show how old music like Blues, Classic, Rock, Country, and Jazz are now transformed into different versions like Country Pop, Classic Rock, Funk, and many more. It breaks my heart to see old music fade away. This 3D art embossed mixed media artwork of the violin is made out of clay.
