Abstract Oil Painting
An oil painting titled ‘Letters Have Life’ depicts the Arabic alphabet in a random manner, colored with different hues and joyfully interspersed with varying spaces. These letters suggested to me that they represent a group of people in this life, each with their unique personality and their own boundaries and spaces. The Arabic language is distinguished by its strength and uniqueness compared to other languages, and it is also the language of the Book of God, the Holy Qur’an. Every stroke of the brush and drawing of a letter has a story, and each letter has its own tale. No matter how far apart the letters are from each other or how they intersect, they remain easily readable to the human eye; even the presence or absence of dots does not prevent the reader from distinguishing any letter. Letters have life as they form the contours of each name among us, and every life has letters that forget the story of the person.
